Kris & Jennifer Breiner were both raised in Calistoga. Jennifer a fourth generation local lived here all here life and Kris moved to Calistoga as a small child from Nebraska with his family. They both left for Chico State in 1994 to attend college and started working in gyms to make their way through school. Knowing early on that Calistoga desperatly needed a gym they used the next six years learning all they could about the fitness industry.
After Graduating from Chico State in 1999 and having their first child they returned home to Calistoga to raise their children near their family and friends.
While personal training from their home they waited five patient years to find a building then finally opened their dream gym right in the Middle of Calistoga in 2004.
Since then Fitness First has been named the “Best Gym in Napa County” 6 years in a row! Thanks to everyone that voted!!
